Paper Poetics

Paper Poetics is a sculpture that explores the materiality of emptiness, fusing the structural mechanics of Sashimono wood joinery with the ethereal, translucent qualities of Japanese paper.
By combining xilography and monotype prints, I aimed to create deeply tactile atmospheres that interacts with the surrounding spatial characteristics.
